Festungs Maschinengewehr Bataillon 23 Established on 9 August 1944 in Military District III for command of Fort Section III, East Prussia. The battalion was an army troop and was subordinate to the 9th Army. In January 1945 it was deployed to Modlin, where it suffered heavy losses. In February 1945 it was in West Prussia.
On the 9th of March 1945 the man was admitted to a hospital in Berlin

Festungs Maschinengewehr Bataillon 23 23 Opgericht op 9 augustus 1944 in Militair District III voor het bevel over Fort Sectie III, Oost-Pruisen. Het bataljon was een legertroep en was ondergeschikt aan het 9e leger. In januari 1945 werd het ingezet in Modlin, waar het zware verliezen leed. In februari 1945 was er iets in West-Pruisen.
Op 9 maart 1945 werd de man opgenomen in een ziekenhuis in Berlijn
Conditie: boekje is in goede staat, geen scheuren of reparaties!
