Item: The Nationalsozialistischer Reichskriegerbund (NSRKB) was, from 1938 onward, the official veterans’ organization of Nazi Germany. It emerged from the aligned Kyffhäuser League and was placed entirely under the control of the NSDAP.
During the Second World War, the NSRKB united war veterans, organized commemorations, and mainly served as a propaganda tool to emphasize the connection between former soldiers, the German military, and the National Socialist regime. After 1945, the organization was banned by the Allied forces.

Item: De Nationalsozialistischer Reichskriegerbund (NSRKB) was vanaf 1938 de officiële veteranenorganisatie van nazi-Duitsland. Hij ontstond uit de gelijkgeschakelde Kyffhäuserbond en stond volledig onder leiding van de NSDAP.
Tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog verenigde de NSRKB oorlogsveteranen, organiseerde herdenkingen en diende vooral als propagandamiddel om de band tussen oud-strijders, het Duitse leger en het nationaalsocialistische regime te benadrukken. Na 1945 werd de organisatie door de geallieerden verboden.
