The author’s main aim is to show the spiritual and spiritual expressions in the respective cultures influenced by the Indo-Europeans and to present what distinguishes them in the subjugated peoples in religion, culture, art and the ideal of beauty. The agricultural basic element of all Indo-Europeans is highlighted and the opinion of unstable itinerant pastoralist tribes is convincingly contradicted. The Indians and Persians are treated particularly, but the other tribes are not overlooked either. In an opening chapter, Jürgen Spanuth deals with the fate of the Philistines and other northern sea peoples in the eastern Mediterranean from 1200 BC.

Item: Het boek (voor het eerst gepubliceerd in 1934) bundelt interdisciplinaire kennis over de Indo-Europeanen, uit archeologie, religiestudies, taalkunde en etnische studies, waarvan de bewegingen vanaf ongeveer 2000 het oosten bereikten tot aan China en Japan. Het belangrijkste doel van de auteur is om de spirituele en spirituele uitingen te laten zien in de respectieve culturen die zijn beïnvloed door de Indo-Europeanen en om te presenteren wat hen onderscheidt in de onderworpen volkeren in religie, cultuur, kunst en het schoonheidsideaal. Het agrarische basiselement van alle Indo-Europeanen wordt benadrukt en de mening van onstabiele rondtrekkende herdersstammen wordt overtuigend tegengesproken.
