Item: The Front Flying Clasp of the Luftwaffe (German: Frontflugspange) was a World War II German military decoration awarded to aircrew and certain other Luftwaffe personnel in recognition of the number of operational flights flown. It was instituted by Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring on 30 January 1941 and was awarded in three grades: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.

  • Bronze – awarded after approximately 20 flown missions

  • Silver – awarded after approximately 60 flown missions

  • Gold – awarded after approximately 110 flown missions

Condition: In good condition, with no damage or repairs. The pin is still functional. A nice, unmarked example. made by the famous company C.E. Juncker, Berlin

De Front Flying Clasp van de Luftwaffe (Duits: Frontflugspange) was een Duitse militaire onderscheiding uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, toegekend aan bemanningsleden en bepaald Luftwaffe-personeel ter erkenning van het aantal voltooide operatieve vluchten. Het werd ingesteld door Reichsmarschall Hermann Göring op 30 januari 1941 en werd uitgereikt in drie gradaties: brons, zilver en goud.
