Item: The term Landesbauernthing refers to a regional assembly within the National Socialist agricultural organizations in Germany during the 1930s. These gatherings were held to discuss and decide on agricultural matters at the state level. They were part of the hierarchical structure of the Reichsnährstand, which was established in 1933 to organize and control agriculture according to Nazi ideology. Members of the Landesbauernthing were often also part of the Landesbauernrat and the Reichsbauernthing. For example, Richard Hildebrandt was a member of the Landesbauernrat and the Landesbauernthing of the Rhine Province, as well as the Reichsbauernthing, from 1936 onward.
