Item: De Duitse Pruisische WO1 koppelslot (Koppelschloss) is een kenmerkend onderdeel van de uitrusting van het Keizerlijke Duitse leger, gedragen door soldaten van het Koninkrijk Pruisen tijdens de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Meestal gemaakt van messing of staal, toont het de iconische gekroonde adelaar en het motto “Gott mit uns” (“God met ons”). Deze koppelsloten werden gedragen aan leren riemen en hadden zowel een functionele als symbolische rol, als teken van trouw aan de keizer en de Pruisische militaire traditie.
