Item: This poster is a German occupation poster from the Second World War, issued in occupied Netherlands. The headline “BELOONING” (“Reward”) immediately draws attention. In the text, the Director-General of Police, on behalf of the German authorities, announces a reward of 1000 guilders for information leading to the arrest of persons who opposed the food supply of the German Wehrmacht or committed other “serious offences.”
The purpose of this poster was to:
Discourage resistance and sabotage
Encourage Dutch citizens to betray fellow countrymen
Spread fear and division among the population
Promote collaboration with the occupying forces

Item: Deze poster is een Duitse bezettingsposter uit de Tweede Wereldoorlog, uitgegeven in bezette Nederland. Het opschrift “BELOONING” (beloning) trekt direct de aandacht. In de tekst kondigt de Directeur-Generaal van Politie namens de Duitse autoriteiten een beloning van 1000 gulden aan voor informatie die leidt tot de arrestatie van personen die zich verzetten tegen de voedselvoorziening van de Duitse Wehrmacht of andere “ernstige vergrijpen” pleegden.
Het doel van deze poster was:
Verzet en sabotage ontmoedigen
Nederlanders aan te zetten tot verraad van medeburgers
Angst en verdeeldheid in de bevolking zaaien
Collaboratie met de bezetter stimuleren
Conditie: in goede conditie kleine reperatie geweest met zuurvrije tape aan de onderkant van de poster
